1. About these terms
This website, thelegalsavvy.com, is operated by Finsbury Advisory Private Limited (CIN: U69100TS2025PTC197547), a company incorporated in India with its registered office at Sai Ganesh Towers, 100 Feet Road, Ayyappa Society Road, Chanda Naik Nagar, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500081, which provides its services under the brand name Legal Savvy ("Legal Savvy", "we", "us" or "our").
These terms apply to everyone who visits the website or submits an enquiry through it ("you"). By using the website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
If you engage us for a loan settlement or related service, the written service agreement you sign with us also applies. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the service agreement prevails for that engagement.
2. What we do, and what we do not do
Legal Savvy helps borrowers in financial difficulty deal with unsecured and secured loans, credit card dues and recovery practices. Depending on your case, this may include reviewing your loans and notices, preparing hardship and settlement proposals, communicating and negotiating with your lenders on your behalf, helping you respond to legal notices, and guiding you on complaints about recovery harassment.
Please understand the following before you engage us:
- We are not a bank, NBFC or lender. We do not lend money, take deposits, or buy or take over your debt.
- Every settlement is decided by your lender under its own policies. We cannot guarantee that a lender will agree to a settlement, the amount it will accept, or how long it will take.
- A settled account is usually reported to credit bureaus as "Settled", which can affect your credit score and future borrowing. We explain this before you decide.
- Information on this website is general information, not legal advice for your situation. Advice for your case is given only after we review your documents.
3. Settlement payments go only to your lender
Any settlement amount agreed with a lender must be paid directly into the lender's official account, against a settlement letter issued by the lender. Legal Savvy will never ask you to pay a settlement amount into a Legal Savvy account or to any individual.
If anyone claiming to represent Legal Savvy asks you to pay a settlement amount to them, do not pay, and write to us at legal@thelegalsavvy.com.
4. Our fees
Our services are paid services. Any registration, consultation or service fee is explained to you before you pay and is recorded in writing in your service agreement, along with what it covers and when it is payable.
We issue a receipt or invoice for every payment made to us, and applicable taxes such as GST are charged as stated in the agreement. We do not charge any fee that is not set out in your agreement.
5. No refunds
All fees paid to Legal Savvy, including registration, consultation and service fees, are non-refundable once paid, whether or not you continue with the service and whatever the outcome of negotiations with your lender. Please read your service agreement and ask us any questions before you pay.
You may stop our service at any time by writing to legal@thelegalsavvy.com. Stopping the service does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid, and no further fees will be charged after you stop.
If you are charged twice for the same payment because of a technical error, write to us with the payment details and we will return the duplicate amount to the original payment method.
6. Your responsibilities
To help us act for you, you agree to:
- give us complete and accurate information about your income, loans, dues and any notices or cases;
- tell us promptly if a lender, recovery agent or court contacts you directly, or if you receive a settlement offer;
- not make any settlement payment without a written settlement letter from the lender;
- keep copies of all letters, receipts and payment proofs you receive.
We may verify the details and documents you share, including through authorised third-party verification services, and may decline or stop a service if the information turns out to be incorrect or incomplete.
7. Calls, messages and email
When you submit an enquiry, you ask us to contact you about it. You agree that we may call you, and send you SMS, WhatsApp messages and emails, on the numbers and email address you provide, including if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call Registry, for the purpose of your enquiry or engagement.
You can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time by writing to legal@thelegalsavvy.com. We will still send messages that are necessary for an ongoing engagement.
